Fly drive camping holidays

A camping stay in combination with a flighticket is becoming increasingly popular with a large group of travelers. The combination of being on the spot quickly (or just not in the mood for a long car ride) and staying on the beach or in nature is a great combination!

In this blog we post weekly tips for combinations of cheap flights (from Ryanair, Easyjet, Wizz, Transavia and others), HOP!, Eurowings and Vueling) and cool campings.

Below just a few ideas:

Citytrip & camping

Score a cheap ticket to Barcelona and enjoy a great city trip to the city of Messi, Gaudi and Dalí. Rent a bike and enjoy the wonderful world of Gaudi with its Sagrada Familia and the magical Park Güell. Explore El Borne and bike along the beach of La Barceloneta, eat tapas on the Ramblas and spend the night in a trendy tent at Camping El Garrofer in Sitges.

Surfing in Portugal

The coast between Lisbon and Porto is one of the best surfing regions in the whole world. The waves in Nazaré are sometimes 25 meters high. Nazaré is a lovely town on the coast about 90 minutes drive from Lisbon. Ohai Nazaré Outdoor Resort has recently been renovated and has beautiful bungalows and safari tents around a splendid swimming pool in the middle of a coastal forest.

A camper trip along the Costa del Sol

Complete freedom. That is traveling with the camper. Stop, swim, eat and sleep wherever you want. The Costa del Sol is the perfect place for a camper trip. Visit the white villages of Andalusia such as Vejer de la Frontera, Grazalema or Cádiz, or stop in Tarifa for a few days of surfing and enjoy this hipping village on the southernmost tip of Europe. Frank Ooms from Spanjecamper rents modern 4p. motorhomes from his location in Malaga.

Summer holiday in Corsica

Getting to Corsica by car is quite an undertaking... First the trip to Toulon, Nice, Savona or Livorno, then the boat and then onwards to the final destination. Flying to Ajaccio Airport, Bastia Airport, Calvi Airport or Figari Airport and renting a car is often quicker and cheaper. The east coast of Corsica is known for its long sandy beaches and coastal lakes. Étang de Biguglia is such a coastal lake and worthwhile visiting. Camping Casa E Natura (Soleil Levant) in Santa-Maria-Poggio is number 1 of our "Strictly confidential list". Modern bungalows around a wonderful swimming pool.
