Explore nearby Virton (3,5 km). It has many popular attractions, including Le Musee Gaumais, Le Jacquemart, making it well worth a visit.
Go to Luxembourg (60 km). Luxembourg is well-known for having three official languages, as well as for having an intriguing system of tunnels beneath the city. There is no better spot to start your exploration of the lovely city of Luxembourg than in the Old Quarter. This beautifully maintained historic city centre, commonly known locally as simply "d'Stad," was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. The National Museum of History and Art is at the top of the list (Nationalmusée fir Geschicht a Konscht, or (MNHA). The Grand Ducal Palace (Groussherzogleche Palais) is a must-see sight. Grand Duke Henri, the current ruler of the nation, resides in this stunning Renaissance structure, which was constructed in 1572. It was initially constructed in 1572 as the city's first municipal hall, a function it performed until 1795 before settling into its current usage as the Grand-Ducal Place in 1890.
