A New Life in the Sun

Channel4 TV hit show 'A new life in the Sun' first aired in 2016. The popular TV show follows UK families who go abroad to realize their dream (a campsite, a B&B a bar or hotel). In the first episode we saw a couple of total novices leave Scotland for a B&B in France and since then more than 100 couples and families left for France, Greece, Spain, Italy and Central Europe. Quite a few started a camping or glamping, succeeded, stayed and now enjoy their adventure every day. The Belair glamping site is located in North Dordogne region in France. It is situated in a small village called Maucité, not more than a mile from the village of Champagnac de Belair. The village has a small grocery shop and for the foodies amongst you a Michelin starred restaurant! The pretty town of Brantôme is only 10km. Often called the ‘Venice of France’, the proximity to water and the picture perfect streets provide enough inspiration for your Instagram posts.
