The EURO 2024 football tournament will be the 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship. Germany will host the tournament, which is scheduled to take place from June 14 to July 14, 2024. And it will be the first time that the competition will be held in the former East Germany with Leipzig as the host city.
Almost all participating countries are known. The following 12 countries will play the play-offs for the last 3 places on March 21 and 16, 2024: Georgia, Poland, Wales, Estonia, Finland, Ukraine, Iceland, Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Kazakhstan and Luxembourg.
Berlin's Olympiastadion will stage the final on Sunday 14 July 2014. Hosts Germany will feature in the opening game of UEFA EURO 2024 at the Munich Football Arena on Friday 14 June. The ten venues chosen to host games at the tournament include nine of the stadiums used at the 2006 World Cup plus the Düsseldorf Arena.

The Olympiastadion Berlin (capacity: 71,000) hosts the following matches:
With a giant football goal in front of the Brandenburger Tor, the Berlin fan zone is going to be a gigantic football fan party. Not only will all matches of the Mannschaft be shown on giant screens, you’ll also be able to watch many other games as well. Located within the Tiergarten district, the Straße des 17. Juni will be transformed into an pop-up park with artificial grass of almost two kilometres and is dubbed the Berlin Fan Mile.

The Cologne or RheinEnergie Football Stadium (capacity: 47.000) hosts the following matches:
The Altstadt of Cologne will be the epicentre of football during the Euro 2024 tournament. The Football Village will broadcast the matches on large screens while the abundance of local bars, beer gardens and restaurants will make your visit worthwhile. Families may want to go to the Tanzbrunnen in Deutz. A local football club has plans to host a Football Experience consisting of several football fields, where classes, groups, families will be to play matches and competitions.

The BVB Stadion or Signal Iduna Park Football Stadium (capacity: 62.000) hosts the following matches:
Dortmund offers two Fan zones during EURO 2024. The first one is on the Friedensplatz right in the centre of town has a capacity of 6200 fans and will broadcast the matches live on big screens. The second one is within the Westfalenpark a 15min walk from the Signal Iduna Park Football stadium. The Westfalenpark is also home to several attractions including the Skulpturenpark, Florianturm and Japanese Garden.

The Düsseldorf Esprit Arena (capacity: 47.000) hosts the following matches:
Düsseldorf has a total of 3 fan zones during the tournament. The pretty Rheinufer, the Düsseldorf Rhine embankment will broadcast all matches of the German -Mannschaft- national team and all matches taking place in Düsseldorf. A superb place for a bite and a drink before entering the old town for some serious mingling with the other football crowds. On your way to the Altstadt you’ll pass through the Burgplatz, one of Düsseldorf's most beautiful squares and the second Fan Zone. The third fan zone is a cultural one. The Schauspielhaus Fan Zone is located on and around the Gustaf-Gründgens-Platz. During the event The Schauspielhaus ensemble will perform a special play, while the locals bars and restaurants will organize special music and cultural events.

The Frankfurt Arena or Deutsche Bank Park (capacity 46.000) hosts the following matches:
The Frankfurt Fan Zones will be located in Frankfurt City Centre and along the banks of the River Main and will be open on all match days. Admission to these Zones is free of charge, all matches will be broadcast live and there will be plenty of seating, specials events and food and drink stands and food trucks.

The Arena AufSchalke or Veltins-Arena (capacity 50.000) hosts the following matches:
From the stadium where Schalke 04 plays its home matches it’s approx.. 5km to the Nordsternpark Fan Zone. The park is enormous (more than 65 hectares or 130 football fields) is located along the Rhine-Herne-Canal and full of beer gardens, cafés and great restaurants. Kids will appreciate the large adventure playground. During match-days the fan zone will have large screens for public viewing (free of charge). The city of Gelsenkirchen will also provide so-called Meeting Points for supporters of the competing teams on matchdays. These will be on Domplatte square in the Buer district (north of the stadium) and on Heinrich-König-Platz square (close to the main station)

The Volksparkstadion Hamburg (capacity 50.000) hosts the following matches:
The Fan Zone Heiligengeistfeld is where you’ll meet co-supporters, friends, football-loving-tourists. The City of Hamburg expects tens of thousands of fans at this free-of-charge fanzone right in the middle of the St. Pauli district. The whole area is divided into 3 separate areas: the public viewing area with all the big screens, the Football Village which offers a stage program, a beach club with DJ, several restaurants, sports events and much more. Last but not least an arena in which all kind of football classes, tournaments and events will be held.

The Leipzig Stadium or Red Bull Arena Leipzig (capacity 42.000) hosts the following matches:
The Fan Zone in Leipzig is located at the Augustusplatz. All 51 matches will be displayed right in the middle of the city creating a great atmosphere. Locals, tourist and fans will mingle with the Leipzig Oper in the background. Admission will be free of charge and no ticket required. In between matches visit the great Bach museum or Museum der bildenden Künste.

The Munich Football Arena or Allianz Arena (capacity 67.000) hosts the following matches:
Whether you're in Munich to support your national team (Germany, Scotland, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Denmark play a group match in Munich) or you want to see one of the other matches on a 120 square metre screen at the Olympic Lake, then head to the Olympiapark München Fan Zone at the Olympic Park Munich (Olympic Stadium). All 51 European Championship matches will be broadcast live on the gigantic screen. Next to football, the Fan Zone offers a varied and entertaining programme with music (featuring Antenne Bayern DJ's) and many interactive and sporting activities.

The Stuttgart Arena or Mercedes-Benz Arena (capacity 54.000) hosts the following matches:
Stuttgart will have no less than 4 fan zones during Euro 2024. Most cheering will be heard around the Schlossplatz (Palace Square) which is Stuttgart-Mitte's largest square. Two large screens (144m2 and 63m2) will provide a good view of the players. The area will offer a range of food & drinking options and free activities including a mini football field, beach foot, table football and many (sponsor) activities. Admission is free. Other fan zones are located on the Marktplatz, Karlsplatz (including a Fan Embassy) and the Schillerplatz which is a so-called Regional Food & Drinks Fan Zone. It offers visitors the possibility to taste typical Swabian specialities.
