Camping Zwarte Cross 2020

Motocross and music fans get ready….Zwarte Cross (Black Cross) 2020 tickets go on sale this Saturday 23 November at 11.00 (CET) and will probably sell-out quicker than one spells z.w.a.r.t.e.c.r.o.s.s. This is the or one of the largest music festivals in the Netherlands and the largest motocross in the world. Last year the festival in Lichtenvoorde attracted over 250.000 people, who were entertained by some 250 bands and musicians on 33 stages. This year things are bigger and 41 stages will be built on over 200 acres. And yes….Tante Rikie….the festival’s mascot and festival-director (and 70 year old mother of the organizer!) will also be there!

The festival, which was first organized in 1997 and back then only a motor cross, has seen many great artists including Status Quo, Presidents of the United States of America, Uriah Heep, Normaal, Within Temptation, Mother's Finest, Di-rect, Tim Knol, Triggerfinger, Blondie, The Black Crowes and the Kaiser Chiefs.

A large chunk of the festival grounds will be equipped as fully fledged camping area including the “Glamping in Grasnapolsky” deluxe camping area. Note: campings are for >18years!
