At the pop-up campsite you can use the facilities of the park, for example with dinner or lunch in the historic Coach House of the Park.
Mechelen wants to create pop-up campsites in and around the city in August 2020. These "urban campsites" are the perfect place to visit the city and the green belt around it for a weekend or longer. For the time being one thinks of parks and squares, but also in school playgrounds urban pods or bubble tents would not be out of place. The proposals will certainly look at sustainability, in addition to the importance of the environment, including the local resident. We have done some preliminary research at JetCamp and we prefer a bubble tent on the Dijle or a vintage caravan in the Kruidtuin. We'll keep you posted when more is known.
Culture Campsite Rotterdam is an urban, trendy campsite where you sleep in various architectural objects made of upcycled and residual flow materials. The objects (yes, also a UFO) are smaller than a small house and more exciting than a tent. It is located in a former parking lot that has been transformed into a small green oasis. A unique experience to stay at this urban campsite in Rotterdam and also a stone's throw from the fun and upcoming Delft harbor full of restaurants, cafes and bars.

The main building (incl. Reception, cafe and restaurant) will be completely newly built in 2020 and gives the campsite a modern character. After exploring the Delftse Hout, Hertenkamp, Biesland or Balijbos, settle down on the terrace of Het Rieten Dak for a cup of coffee, croquettes, a pancake or a bouncer, but above all ... enjoy the beautiful view of the Nootdorpse Plassen.
