Francofolies La Rochelle & camping

Hip Hop, pop, Indie and Rap in a historic harbor, that's Les Francofolies de La Rochelle. The Francofolies festival will take place in the picturesque port city of La Rochelle on the west coast of France over 5 days, from 9 to 14 July 2025.

Top DJs, rappers, rock bands, old and young, newcomers and superstars, the best musical talent from France and abroad performs here. Diversity and togetherness ensures the festival's loyal fan base with music lovers of all ages. The biggest stage of the festival is in the port of Esplanade Saint-Jean d'Acre. In addition, there are also shows at locations in the city, including a theater, a club and also in the old port.

Camping des Francos is a temporary campsite (a collaboration between EOLE and the city of La Rochelle). It is a small “village” in the city where you can pitch your tent and meet new people. The campsite is located on the Rue du Prado (see map) and is approximately a 30-minute walk from the Jean-Louis Foulquier stage. The rate is 2.50€ per night / person. There is a temporary mini supermarket on site, a barbecue is available and there are clean showers. Book and pay on the spot.

Near La Rochelle and on Île de Ré you can choose from a range of campsites.
