JetCamp is shocked by the events taking place in Ukraine. We want to help as much as possible and that's why we opened this blog and this forum. It serves 3 purposes:
The Ukrainian Red Cross pledged to respond to emerging humanitarian needs. Your donation can help people in Ukraine get food, water, medicine, first aid, warm clothing and shelter.
EU4UA, a non-profit online platform, connects Ukrainian refugees with European citizens who are open to providing free emergency shelter.
In addition, many volunteers offer free private accommodation in various countries. You can find more information on the website of official volunteer organizations.
HISWA-RECRON (Dutch trade association for recreation companies) is helping the Dutch Security Regions and the municipalities to find as many beds on campsites and holiday parks to house refugees. An initial inventory on March 9 in Zeeland has already yielded many positive reactions. In a short time, the counter was already at 300 sleeping places.
VluchtelingenWerk Nederland coordinates refugee help in the Netherlands. Their website provides information for refugees (available in Ukrainian, Russian, English and Dutch) and for donors and municipalities. They also need more volunteers!
Takecarebnb is an Anbi approved Dutch organisation and has a lot of experience with finding host families for refugees. They work together with municipalities such as Eindhoven and Lansingerland.

We have seen the following heart-warming messages in the press where fellow camping owners are doing their share of help:
Camping Zon & Zee has started a support action to pick up more than 50 refugees by bus and host them on their camping. The first refugees have arrived. Help them achieve their goal here

The UK government is providing a route for those who wish to come to the UK and find someone to provide them with a place to stay. Individuals, charities, community groups, and businesses will be able to give voluntary housing and a safe way to Ukrainians and their immediate family members who have been compelled to abandon their homeland.

Stubcroft Farm Campsite has donated £8,500 to the Red Cross, UNICEF, the Disaster Emergency Committee, Save the Children, Médecins Sans Frontières, and Depaul. They also offered the two families temporary accommodation in two of their caravans through the Red Cross.
In order to welcome Ukrainian citizens in the best possible conditions, the French government has set up a special web platform called “Je m'engage pour l'Ukraine (I am committed to Ukraine)”. Various actions are possible on the site, such as donating to refugees, offering accommodation, and even serving as a translator. You can gather more information through this link. For Ukrainians who want to get information, they can find information in their own language on the website.
Paris also organizes a network for Ukrainians coming to the capital in cooperation with the French government, and institutions.

Camping Tours Les Acacias started a support action to host about 50 Ukrainian refugees in their campsite.
Two chalets at the Camping La Bédisse will be able to accommodate Ukrainian refugees. On-site, a chain of solidarity has been set up to pick them up and house them far from the fury of war.
A new internet portal "Germany4Ukraine" was established for Ukrainian refugees. On the website, information about the assistance offered is provided in German, English and Ukrainian. Nearly 200,000 private and public accommodation offers have been made to refugees from Ukraine in Germany so far.
Refugees from Ukraine will have access to coronavirus tests and vaccines, along with a health insurance card.
More information regarding the reception, accommodation, information on work permits, job search services, equipment, and veterinary care is provided on this webpage for the people arriving in Berlin.
In order to make the journey from the border easier, Ukrainian refugees travel free of charge from Poland to Germany (instead of a ticket, a Ukrainian passport is enough), and can use buses and trains in Germany free of charge.

The LeadingCampings of Europe marketing organisation in Düsseldorf helps provide vacant rental accommodation at their member campsites. Their simple calculation: if each LeadingCamping provides just three rental accommodations, 111 families already have a roof over their heads. Within just one day of the Leading internal call, campsites from Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Luxembourg and France have already taken part in the action and the willingness to help is constantly growing.
The Belgian Government has established a reception centre for refugees at the former Jules Bordet hospital in Brussels. Ukrainian citizens can apply for protection here and will be registered in a centre where they can be admitted to the first limited-term shelters. In addition, citizens who want to accommodate refugees in need can apply to their municipality.
Additional registration for temporary protection takes place at the Brussels Expo, Palais (8) Heysel. The registration centre is open 7 days a week from 8.30 to 17.30. More information can be seen on the webpage.
More than 10,000 shelters were provided to Ukrainian refugees in Belgium. The #Plekvrij (Free Space) hashtag was started on social media to help people voluntarily open their homes to refugees.
The Belgian Royal Family opened three of their royal estates to accommodate Ukrainian families. The property in Tervuren, located on the outskirts of Brussels and formerly used as a vaccination centre, will also be offered as accommodation for Ukrainian refugees. Accommodation will become available in early April.

Thanks to the Brussels Hotels Association (BHA), over one hundred rooms have been made available free of charge by the hotel industry in Brussels to accommodate Ukrainian refugees.
The Austrian government provided four quarters for refugees fleeing Ukraine in Graz-Puntigam, Ohlsdorf Villach and Mondsee.
There is also an arrival centre in Vienna established by the Ernst Happel Stadium, where Ukrainian citizens in need receive assistance with emergency care, accommodation and information.
Refugees from Ukraine can benefit from ÖBB (Austria's national railway operator) services free of charge by showing their travel documents.

The Polish government has created a special platform for Ukrainian refugees. This platform allows refugees to report their individual needs, offer humanitarian assistance, see accommodation options and job opportunities. All the information is available in Ukrainian and English.

Flixbus also organized a campaign. They announced on their social media that applications for free travel from Suceava, Tulcea, Przemyśl and Rzeszów are accepted online. Free tickets can also be purchased in another application.

With the cooperation of the Youth Meeting Centre, Camping Nr 33 Tramp and Kopernik Hotel in Toruń, free accommodation with a total capacity of 80 people is available to the use of people coming from Ukraine.
The Italian government has decided to expand the reception centres (CAS) and national reception and integration system (SAI) centres to accommodate 13,000 additional people. Italian authorities are currently providing temporary free accommodation in former nursing homes and buildings used during the pandemic.

Currently, ten Ukrainian families were welcomed by the Municipality of Rome and hosted at the Camping Roma Capitol. More refugees will arrive in the coming days.
The Spanish government has developed a social protection program that will provide shelter, food, clothing and psychological assistance. The system will facilitate the access of temporary protection, residence and work permits. Applications can be made at both reception centres that are set up in three large reception centres located in Madrid, Barcelona and Alicante and police stations throughout the country.
The Real Estate Association of the Community of Valencia is collaborating with the solidarity initiative Emergency House to find free accommodation for Ukrainian families. More information can be found on the webpage.
Benidorm Town Hall created a form for people who would like to open their place for Ukrainian people who need accommodation.
The Renfe rail network provided free travel for citizens of Ukraine in Spain and towards France. This service is available in Barcelona if you have a Ukrainian passport. Moreover, the tickets are can be purchased from the train station ticket office.
In the need of wanting to help Ukrainian refugees, 30 Madrid taxi drivers made the 6,000-kilometer journey from Madrid to the Polish border and back to Madrid. Taxi drivers brought basic humanitarian aid on their journey to Ukraine and brought Ukrainian refugees to Madrid on their return.

Villasol Camping & Resort provides two-room cabins for women and children from Ukraine and offers food service from the restaurant.
Denmark is not bound by the recently activated EU Temporary Protection Directive due to its EU opt-out on legal issues. Alternatively, the Danish government has introduced a special law for Ukrainian refugees. Residence permit applications can be made online.
