The 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris promise to be the biggest event ever in France. They will be held over a 45-day period during July, August and September 2024. Paris is committed to a combination of culture, artistic events and diverse performances to create a unique and revolutionary experience for athletes and visitors. Paris is also a great place to spend a holiday, possibly to combine with a visit to Disneyland Paris or the popular coastal region at Honfleur, Deauville and Cabourg. There are several campsites around the city, near Disneyland is the recently built Villages Nature Paris and as we get closer to the event, camping locations will certainly be added. We will of course keep you informed!
Although most events are held in and around Paris, some parts will be held across France and for surfing Tahiti (French overseas territories) is the host. The football matches will be played at five stadiums in other regions across France: Bordeaux, Nice, Marseille, Nantes and Lyon. The handball tournament will be held in Lille, while Marseille will host the sailing events.
