1. Gardaland amusement park - Lake Garda, Italy

It is number one of all the amusement parks in Italy. If you are an adrenaline lover, this place is perfect for you. The amusement park is beautifully situated on Lake Garda. Gardaland is therefore the perfect getaway during a holiday on Lake Garda. It has a large children's theme park called the Fantasy Kingdom. In addition, the park offers about 40 attractions, of which Shaman and Raptor are two of them. There are a lot of campsites around the park where you can stay. 2. Mirabilandia - Ravenna, Italy

Are you also fond of the motorcycle brand Ducati? If yes, then you should definitely visit the theme area, Ducati World, in Italy's second-largest amusement park, Mirabilandia. If no, that is no problem either. The amusement park has six different themed areas, of which Adventureland, Dinoland, and Far West Valley are three of them. For example, there is something different to experience in each theme area, with different attractions and shows for both young and old. Children can enjoy Magic Googelaars Street and have a great time at the rotating houses of Houdini and others. There is also a playground for the smallest ones. 5. Minitalia Leolandia Park - Capriate San Gervasio, Italy

Leolandia is the perfect amusement park for families with children. The park offers more than 40 attractions for all ages and has six themed areas for you to enjoy. Children's dreams come true in Leolandia as they can meet their favourite cartoon characters. The many attractions, shows, and restaurants ensure a wonderful day full of fun. Monza Camping is the nearest campsite where you can stay overnight if you want to visit the park. Pitches and furnished bungalow tents are available on the campsite.

6. Zoosafari Fasanolandia - Fasano, Italy

It is the second-largest animal park in Europe, situated just a 40-minute ride from Bari. Here you will find a lot of fun: rollercoasters, tropical rooms, and the possibility to see a vast variety of animals such as elephants, mammals, dolphins, and many others. The park includes a drive-through safari park in the visitor's own vehicle, as well as walkaround animal areas, animal shows, and other fun entertainment. Camping Atlantide Monopoli is the nearest campsite located just in front of the rocky beach and offers stays in pitches and bungalows.

7. Etnaland - Belpasso, Italy

It is the biggest and best amusement park in South Italy, situated on one of the UNESCO World Heritage Lists, Etna Volcano in Sicily. The park is divided into Theme Park, Aqua Park, and Prehistoric Parkland. The Themepark is considered to be the jewel in the crown of automated attractions. It has highly spectacular rides: the extreme ones, such as The Storm, Etnaland Tower, Quasar, and Vertigo, the adventurous ones, such as Eldorado, The School, and Revo-Rock; the boats of the Love Lagoon, the family coaster, Hip Hop Coaster, and many others. The Themepark offers Ciclopino Circus and The Dreams of Ciclopina for kids, as well as two special children's areas full of colourful and entertaining attractions. Camping Jonio, located just half an hour away, awaits you for a pleasant stay. 

8. Pinocchio Park - Collodi, Italy

This amusement park is located in Collodi and is very easily reachable. If you are on a camping holiday with your kids, you cannot miss this place because, for them, it is a true paradise dedicated to the famous long-nosed marionette. The park contains children's rides, a puppet theatre, a hedge maze, and other attractions, as well as catering choices. Pinocchio Park is an enchanted place with an almost retro-style atmosphere. So do not expect special effects or high-tech attractions, the park’s magic is the charm of the tale of Pinocchio. The closest and most popular campsite is Camping Barco Reale, which offers stays in safari tents, mobile homes, and pitches. 

9. Cinecitta World - Rome, Italy

This amusement park is located in the capital of Italy and has some 40 attractions and many themed areas. It is not a huge park compared to others, but the experience makes it unique and unforgettable. The fun includes Altair, the roller coaster with 10 inversions, the indoor coaster Inferno, Aktium, the water roller coaster, the immersive Jurassic War tunnel with its journey through the Dinosaur forest, the Horror House, a scary walk through the horror cinema sets, the mega playground Giocarena, and the Cinepiscina, the first cinematographic swimming pool in a theme park, and many other fun activities. There is a Roma Camping in Town campsite nearby, offering stays in bungalows, chalets, or pitches.

10. Cavallino Matto - Castagneto Carducci, Italy

Cavallino Matto is the largest amusement park in Tuscany. The park, the name of which means "The Crazy Little Horse" in Italian, is located on 60,000 square metres of pine forest in Marina di Castagneto Carducci . There is no lack of roller coasters here. The biggest is 17 metres high, but there are also many designed for the little ones. There are water attractions too, from the tree trunk ride to a journey on canoes up to Bucaniere Bay for pirate adventures. In addition, there are also magic and dance shows, a 3D cinema, and the Funicular for those who want to experience the thrill of heights. The park is suitable for children aged 3 and above. Camping Le Capanne is the nearby campsite that welcomes you for a pleasant stay.
