Top 10 best amusement parks in Spain

Theme parks are a fantastic day-out attraction for families on vacation in Spain. Amusement parks are also excellent destinations for vacations and city breaks. The majority of attractions in Spain are quite nicely developed and provide excellent activities and rides for their visitors. These amusement and theme parks are a must-see for families with children.

1. Warner Park of San Martín de la Vega, Madrid

This park, located in San Martín de la Vega, includes several unique attractions and a diverse choice of entertainment. Warner Park has been called one of Europe's top amusement parks, and it is home to one of the world's tallest rides, the Venganza del Enigma.

Another attraction for the brave is "Superman," where you will travel at superman's speed. Discover the secrets of the eerie mansion if you want to be a part of the Scooby-Doo crew.

There are also many more roller coasters and five themed sections based on mythological Hollywood films made by Warner Brothers: Hollywood Boulevard, Old West Territory, DC Super Heroes World, and Warner Bros Studios.

2. Port Aventura, The Costa Dorada

Port Aventura is a popular theme park attraction in Spain and the third-largest theme park in Europe. You may let your imagination run wild and release your inner kid in the Mediterranean, Polynesian, Chinese, Mexican, Far West, and Sésamo experiences.

Each portion of the park features its performances and attractions, including the roller coaster "Dragon Khan," which boasts one of the tallest loops ever built. If you're looking for a thrill, check out "Furius Baco," a roller coaster that hits 135 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, making it the fastest in Europe. The new theme park, "Ferrari Land," debuted in 2016 and has been popular with motor enthusiasts. Aside from that, there is a water park located near some of Costa Dorada's most stunning beaches.

This park is in a unique position, just one hour from Barcelona, and is one of the most popular attractions for families visiting the Costa Dorada.

3. Isla Mágica, Seville

When renting a holiday house in Seville, a day excursion to Isla Mágica is great for youngsters. This amusement park includes a variety of attractions for people of all ages. The Jaguar roller coaster includes five inversions and a helix twist at the conclusion. Being the tallest roller coaster on Isla Mágica, experience dropping from a height of 32 metres and reaching speeds of up to 85 kilometres per hour. Anaconda is a three-drop log flume attraction that takes you through the deep jungle on a voyage of climbs, steep bends, and stunning drops.

4. Tivoli World, Benalmadena

Tivoli World is one of the top family attractions in Benalmádena. There are several attractions and rides for the entire family among the fountains and gardens. Throughout the year, they also organise flamenco shows, expositions, children's shows, and other events.

This park is conveniently accessible for families staying in a Costa del Sol vacation house. Take advantage of the "Supertivolino ticket," which grants you unlimited admission to the park's 36 attractions.

5. Parque de Atracciones de Madrid

This well-known amusement park is a must-see for families visiting Madrid. There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy, with attractions for all ages. "Abismo" is the park's most severe attraction and the current generation roller coaster for the most daring adrenaline junkies. Experience nosedives, inversions, slopes, and Immelmann loops at 100 km/h on the world's only one of its type. Spend the entire day here and enjoy the rides, restaurants, and performances.

6. Loro Park, Tenerife

Loro Parque is another world-famous park worth seeing if you opt to stay in Tenerife with your children. This park is located in the valley of La Orotava, a natural wonderland that is home to several animal species. Explore this park and witness "Antarctica" at Planet Penguin, an iceberg with over 200 penguins; see orcas in "Orca Ocean" and watch dolphins do acrobatics, among many other attractions.

7. Terra Mitica, Benidorm

Terra Mitica, located near Benidorm on Spain's east coast, is a family favourite that spans five continents: Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia, and the Islands. In addition to the main park, there is a free section with stores, restaurants, and pay-per-ride activities. Every day, several shows are conducted around the park's many sections.

8. Jungle Park, Tenerife

The 7.5-hectare (19-acre) Las Guilas Jungle Park on the Spanish Canary Island of Tenerife is home to over 500 creatures, including exotic birds, lions, leopards, penguins, and monkeys. Visitors may enjoy jungle hikes and see frequent events, such as birds of prey display and a sea lion show.

9. Tibidabo Amusement Park, Barcelona

The Tibidabo amusement park in Barcelona is more than 500 metres above sea level and provides some of the city's most stunning vistas. It is an iconic emblem of Barcelona and is located at the summit of Collserola Natural Park. Locals refer to it as "the wonder mountain." The park is currently almost 100 years old, making it Europe's third oldest amusement park. Take a ride on the colourful Ferris wheel for spectacular views of the city, sea, and environs.

10. Oasys MiniHollywood Theme Park, Almería

This theme park is located in Almera, the only desert in Europe. As this was formerly a popular Hollywood filming site, Tabernas frequently built genuine western situations. Clint Eastwood and Brigette Bardot have both walked the beach here. Visit the western town, zoological reserve, and aquatic zone in this unusual amusement park in Spain. When planning your journey, keep in mind that temperatures in the summer might reach dangerously high levels.
