Camping in winter is becoming more and more popular and there is no better place than a campsite to enjoy nature, the beach, cozy inner cities or snowy mountains in winter. In the winter months you can rent a chalet or mobile home or book a pitch at more and more campsites and holiday parks. Now that the winters are often less cold, the caravans and motorhomes are better insulated and the camping equipment is getting better and better, winter camping is also an excellent option for more and more athletes (skiers, cross-country skiers, cyclists and hikers). Add to that: beautiful winter landscapes, pitches within walking distance of routes, ski lifts, cross-country trails or hiking trails and a cozy bar is always nearby. Winter campsites usually have good and modern (private) sanitary facilities, in the winter sports areas often a sauna and wellness facilities and almost all campsites now have (free) wifi. This makes your holiday very comfortable. In this blog we give you extra winter inspiration and we refer you to specific blog pages for the most important countries and regions.
