Winter camping is hot! This winter no citytrip or package holiday to the sun, but a camping trip to one of the beautiful Dutch provinces. Enjoy the sea, the beautifully colored forests, ice on the lakes (with a little luck) or a route along unknown cities and villages. So why not camp out, often surrounded by nature with lots of space and tranquility, make a fire with the kids or have a winter BBQ with your best friends? Bring your winter coat, mittens, boots and extra duvet and enjoy. The nearly 200 winter campsites in the Netherlands on this list are open all year round and look forward to welcoming you. Some facilities may not be open or available. If the pool is closed, but you still want to swim, there is always an indoor pool somewhere nearby. Is the camping shop closed? The local baker and greengrocer really appreciate your visit.
