We try to bring trends and destinations together in the content we create and publish. Recent topics with which we score well are winter camping, ski & camping, kitesurf & camping, and campsites with private sanitary facilities.
About JetCamp
JetCamp is a Dutch start-up, set up by Erwin Hoevenaar and Roderik Verburg (both ex Thomas Cook). JetCamp went live in 2019 and has since grown into one of the largest camping platforms in Europe. The platform is available in 10 languages and offers information about more than 22,000 campsites in all countries of Europe. In mid-2020, a start was made with online bookability and more than 2000 campsites are now bookable online. The JetCamp team works from 3 locations: Delft, Leiden, and an IT team in Kaunas (Lithuania).
Internship Activities
We are looking for enthusiastic interns who have an eye for trends, images, design, and good language skills. You like to think along about content, both executive and conceptual and you also have ideas about how to structure processes more. You are part of a small content & marketing team consisting of 3-6 people (social, content & translations), but you will certainly also spar with the owners.
You work in our CMS (content management system). You help compile the content calendar and complete it together with the entire team. You have ideas about themes and subjects that are suitable for further elaboration. You also monitor the use of our branding and corporate identity and you are responsible for 1 or more social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, Twitter, Google Business, Flickr).
Internship Requirements
You are a third or fourth-year student with a specialization in Journalism, Communication, and/or Tourism. Excellent command of spoken and written English. Creative, an eye for images and ideas about content. Strong communication skills, flexible, proactive, and independent. Able to work remotely with online supervision.
