JetCamp successfully completes 2nd investment round

Delft (NL) 11 January 2022: With 2 new investors on board, JetCamp has started the new year well. The booking platform for campsites and holiday parks wants to grow faster in the European camping market of 5 billion euros. Investors include the Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group (FMTG) led by Otmar Michaeler and Cunningham Holding, Jan-Peter Cruiming's investment vehicle.

The 10-language www.jetcamp.com website, with almost 23,000 verified campsites and holiday parks, the largest in Europe, attracted more than 4 million visitors in 2021. In addition to a focus on content & inspiration, more and more campsites and parks can be booked online.

JetCamp provides an overview of availability and prices. Bookings are made online to the accommodation or tour operator. Payment is also made directly at the campsite or holiday park.

Growth camping holidays

The European camping market has grown faster than other holiday markets in the past 2 years, partly due to corona. Hoevenaar: “On the one hand, we see that more and more people want to spend their holidays close to home and, on the other, that camping sites and holiday parks are investing heavily in new (glamping) accommodations and in greening & sustainability”.
