Sejs Bakker is a cosy, family-friendly campsite in the middle of wild and beautiful nature. It is located in the Central Jutland region, a stone’s throw away from the Borro So Brasso lake, right on the outskirts of Silkeborg. Discover the nearby Sindbjerg and Stoubjerg ravines and other natural, as well as historical, landmarks of Denmark. Bask in the sounds of birds chirping and the peaceful life of camping while you enjoy the setting sun on the patio of your hut. Do not forget the day and evening animation for all ages. Cosy wooden huts are built for your homey stay with a sprinkle of camping in the wild. The units accommodate up to 8 people and are fully equipped with a small kitchenette with all the necessary utensils and devices, a dining area and a terrace with outdoor furniture. Bigger huts have a private bathroom with a toilet and a shower, hot running water and a king-size bed. The campsite also offers overnight accommodation for those seeking a quick stop. Your four-legged friends are always welcome as well!

Sejs Bakker is a perfect spot for watersports enthusiasts, as you can go canoeing and waterskiing nearby. Your little ones will be happy to play in a large playground with bouncy castles. Challenge your family to a mini-golf, football, billiards, table football or table tennis match. There is a tennis court 300 m away from the holiday village. Reap the benefits of the beach De Små Fisk and spend a day near the lake Borro So Brasso. Do not miss the chance to explore and discover Jutland's many scenic mountain biking and hiking trails. Have a cosy family night at an open fire pit and grill area and enjoy the on-site karaoke nights. 

The campsite does not have its own restaurant, but there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars around the campsite. Only 1,5 kilometres away sits Pizza & Pasta Palace, offering the crunchiest pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and refreshing beverages. Restaurant Karoline Amalie is a well-rated, cosy local restaurant offering French cuisine with the tastiest desserts and a glass of fine wine. 

If you are looking for something exclusive, try Panorama Mad & Vin (7 km). They serve the finest European, Danish and Scandinavian cuisine. And do not miss their wine room with multiple wine options. The closest supermarket, Lidl, is located 7 kilometres from the holiday village. And do not forget that you can always use a grill area on the campsite and cook your own delicious holiday meals.

This holiday village is a great starting point for excursions and trips to all of Jutland. First, head to Silkeborg (10km) and discover the closest city with the Silkeborg Museum, Tollund Man, fascinating Renaissance architecture, picturesque landscapes and adventurous opportunities. There is also a Silkeborg Golf Club located 8 kilometres away from the campsite. Take your family to appreciate and enjoy the popular AQUA Aquarium & Wildlife Park (10 km), with an interactive aquarium recreating Danish habitats, a park with native animals and nature exhibitions. One more super interesting and must-go destination is Jutland's Automobile Museum (16km).

Admire the beautiful and breathtaking panoramic views from the Himmelbjerget (22 km) mountain peak. Have a day trip to Energimuseet (33 km) and have a family picnic in the park nearby. Aarhus (40 km) is a little further away, the second-largest city in Denmark and a cultural hub of Jutland, with world-class museums such as the Moesgaard Museum and ARoS. Relax and unwind at the colourful Aarhus Botanical Garden. And finally, surprise your family with a trip to the famous Legoland (77 km), with many roller coasters and family rides, themed areas and a miniature world made from Lego.

The closest international airport is Billund Airport, located 68 kilometres from the camping village. Catch bus No. 912X from the airport to Skanderborg St. Walk to the train station called Skanderborg St. and find a train going to Silkeborg. You will reach the location within approximately 2 hours.
