Come spend your vacation in the heart of the Landes' pine forests. This 28-hectare 4-star campsite, located 800 metres from the sea and near the town of Biscarrosse, has everything you need to spend a pleasant camping holiday. Come enjoy an aquatic area, numerous activities, and all other services available at the campsite. Come explore the 80 km of cycle paths and 50 km of hiking trails that will take you to the Dune du Pilat and the region's various lakes.

The campsite offers different types of accommodations to match the most demanding guests.

If you are coming with your tent, caravan, or motorhome, nearly 200 pitches await you. They are all equipped with 6 A of electricity. Four sanitary blocks with WCs, washbasins, showers, family showers, and sinks are at your disposal, as is a laundry room.

If you prefer more comfort with an equipped kitchen and private bathrooms, then rent one of the accommodations for 4, 5 or 6 people. They are all equipped with a safe for your valuables and garden furniture for outdoor dining, as well as a microwave and an electric coffee maker. You can rent a baby kit on site consisting of a bed, a high chair, and a bathtub.

In order to stay connected, even on vacation, Wi-Fi is available throughout the campsite.

The aquatic area consists of 3 pools: the upper pool, the lower pool, and a paddling pool for the little ones. The pools have hot tubs. 

Children's clubs: the Plage Sud campsite and its activity leaders take care of your children according to their age group. 

Activities: During the activities offered, your children and teenagers participate in manual or fun activities, create shows, or dance during evenings organised especially for them. Parents are not left out. They can go for a walk, let off steam during dance evenings, karaoke evenings, or big games, attend magic or theatre shows, participate in the Olympics, etc. It is also possible to take fitness classes. There is a petanque court as well as a games room, with billiards and table football.

You won't miss the sea baths because the Plage Sud campsite is only 800 metres from the Atlantic Ocean. This area of Aquitaine is also well-known for its surfing and kitesurfing. A motorboat, towed buoy, or sand yacht can be rented.

Rent a bike, treat yourself to a 27-hole course at the Golf de Biscarrosse, ride a horse at the Riding Club, climb the trees on the tree climbing course, or enjoy the tranquilly of a fishing trip to enjoy nature in the heart of the Landes forest.

The campsite is equipped, so you don’t even have to leave the venue if you don’t want to. They have a snack bar, several food trucks, a bar, and a hotspot to get the day off to a good start. The hotspot offers bread and pastries for a rich family breakfast, before starting the day's activities.

If you decide to wander around, go to Yew Bar & Restaurant (500 m), Restaurant L'Archipel (500 m), or Le Bleu Banane (1,1 km).

Biscarrosse lake 

Biscarrosse is divided into three sections: Biscarrosse Ville (inner city), Biscarrosse Lac (on the coasts of Biscarrosse and Parenti's lakes), and Biscarrosse Plage (beach). Biscarrosse, 30 kilometres south of Arcachon, gets its name from the Arabic word "biskar," which means "dune," because it is surrounded by sand dunes. Biscarrosse is currently a popular coastal resort, a layover for surfers, a resort for a whole region ("Bisca" for those in the know), and a summer destination for tens of thousands of people.

Luë (35 km)

Lu's identity encompasses not only the Pays de Born and Haute Lande but also an entry into the ocean and the Grands Lacs due to its geographical location near key routes in the Landes region. The forest encompasses a substantial portion of the commune. Its history as a resin-producing country is a stark truth. Several neighbourhoods feature traditional Landes houses surrounded by well-kept, wide grassy grounds. Galiano is home to the last fully preserved resin worker hut. This traditional heritage is a well-known and widely used resource. 

Ychoux (30 km)

Ychoux is well-known for its proximity to the road network, which connects Bordeaux in 45 minutes, the Basque Country in an hour, and Paris in three hours. Its bike path network provides quick and safe access to the ocean beaches, beautiful Landes lakes, and the Vélodyssée cycling route. Anglers will appreciate its Forges pond. The Arboretum is nearby, with its walking and cycling routes where you may explore various varieties of forest trees, its waterways, and local environmental wealth; all of this is complemented by all-year-round camping.

Arcachon (30 km) 

Arcachon is a seaside resort town that's known for oyster harvesting. Its four districts are named after the seasons. The Ville d'Été (summer) quarter is home to shopping streets, the town’s sandy main beach, and a casino in the 19th-century Château Deganne. Ville d’Hiver (winter quarter) has extravagant 19th-century villas. South of the town is the Dune du Pilat, a 2.7-km-long natural sand dune. 

Bordeaux (85 km) 

It’s known for its Gothic Cathédrale Saint-André, 18th- to 19th-century mansions, and notable art museums such as the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux. Public gardens line the curving river quays. The grand Place de la Bourse, centred on the Three Graces fountain, overlooks the Miroir d’Eau reflecting pool.
