Located in the Rhône-Alpes region, the resort of Le Champs la Chèvre welcomes visitors from spring to autumn. At the campsite Champ la Chevre, you can find comfortable accommodation. There is a choice of different types and sizes of charming chalets, comfortable mobile homes and unusual safari tents. Here you will be welcomed and allowed to settle down with your own camper van or caravan. They have rentals to meet every need, accommodating 2 to 6 people. You are also welcome to pitch your tent with your equipment on large pitches. The camp is super clean and well maintained. Start your journey by settling down in simple tents without a bathroom, or more luxurious mobile homes and wooden cottages with separate sanitary facilities.

Camping offers lots of amenities such as a communal washing machine, separate hot water showers, heated WC rooms, baby care facilities, a hairdryer, a fridge, ironing facilities, a microwave, satellite TV and many more.

Activities here will satisfy young and old alike. At the campsite, you will find pitches where you can play football or basketball. There are also other games like a ping-pong table and table football. For lovers of other leisure activities, pony and horse riding, hiking and cycling are offered. There are terraces where you can enjoy the tranquillity and just admire the view, or maybe even take a nap in the fresh air. Children will be delighted by the La Cabane Des Petits Chamois Kids club.

Enjoy a cosy afternoon meal with your family on the charming restaurant’s terrace, which serves regional cuisine. There is also an on-site pizzeria, and you can always grab some local wine or fresh bread at the reception. If you fancy something exclusive, visit restaurants outside of the campsite. Try French and European cuisine at Le Pin d'Epices, located a 3-minute walk away from the holiday village. Or grab a glass of fine wine at La Taverne du Jocou (300 m), also offering French cuisine and a panoramic view of the Alps. There is a bigger supermarket just a 5-minute walk from the camping site.

Champ la Chèvre is surrounded by beautiful vineyards, an indescribable smell of lavender fields and charming villages. Camping Champ la Chèvre in Lus-la-Croix-Haute is a perfect place to start exploring the alluring surroundings. Explore the Drôme, the Southern Alps and experience the benefits of untouched nature and fauna.

Discover the beautiful Vercors Regional National Park. In the area, you can join a great excursion that is organized by the campsite. In addition, you may want to visit the stunning Mont Aiguille (41 km) as well as Le Rocher Rond (11 km). Also, don’t forget to stop by Châtillon-en-Diois, a beautiful medieval village that is located 31 km away from the campsite. 

You can visit Gap (51 km) and walk around the enchanting old town. You can also see the village of Chaudun. Visit the weekly markets there and buy some fresh products or local food. Discover more of the surrounding natural and historical landmarks and visit Monteynard-Avignonet lake, which is 50 km from the camping village. If you are ready to travel a little further, go to Grenoble, located 76 km from Champ la Chèvre. There you can find the Archaeological Museum, explore the old town, visit Fort de la Bastille and discover many more things that will keep you breathless.
