This small family campsite in Salles-Curan in the Aveyron region in France is built for relaxing fishing trips on Pareloup Lake and spa sessions in the open-air baths. Activities like swimming in the lake, biking and water sports are sure to please the whole family, while those who like a little competition can join the games around the heated swimming pool, mini-golf course, sandy beach and recreation area.

At an altitude of nearly 600 metres, the Camping Les Genêts is a real heaven of peace at the edge of the lake. The 4-star campsite has lots in store for you: bar, grill/pizzeria, grocery store, cycle hire and even a mini-club for children. In a magical scenic setting, you will experience a pleasant holiday.

The mini-club is opened every day during the high season and is packed with a different programme every day, including treasure hunts, sports tournaments and workshops. In the summer months, the campsite Les Genêts at Salles-Curan is filled with laughter and sports. Throughout the day, you can enjoy team building activities on the multi-sports field under the supervision of an instructor. In the sports facilities, you can do aqua fitness, muscle-strengthening or abs and buttocks sessions so that you can keep up with your fitness program during your well-deserved holiday. 

In the evening you can relax near the bar or shake your hips on the dance floor during the regular dance nights. Besides concerts, you also get the chance to shine during the occasional karaoke night. Luckily the bar is opened all night to provide you with some liquid courage!

Are you going on holiday with your own vehicle and equipment? Then set up your tent, caravan or camper on a lakeside pitch in the beautiful region of Averyron. The semi-shaded pitches are separated by hedges and large trees. Each pitch is equipped with a 6-amp power supply, drinking water tap and a sewer connection. Need more electricity? Then request the 10-amp power hook-up.  

At this campsite, you can choose to stay in a fully equipped mobile home with up to 5 people or in one of their bungalows which sleep between 2 and 6 people. Each bungalow and mobile home has at least 2 bedrooms, which are all furnished with double beds, a bathroom, a living room and a veranda where you can relax in the sun or just take in the beautiful view of the region.

For holidaymakers who love glamping, Camping Les Genêts on Lac De Pareloup, in collaboration with Villatent, offers Nomad glamping tents. The 6p Nomad Villatent is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, a Nespresso coffee machine and 2m-long beds. The Nomad also has a hammock and an Outdoor-Chef gas barbecue.

The Camping Les Genêts is located in the heart of one of the most beautiful areas of Southern France. The camping will delight you with its restaurant serving traditional meals and savoury pizzas, as well as an extensive children's menu. The campsite Les Genêts is located on the Pareloup Lake, a typical mountain lake of Mt. Cantal. Swimming, water activities and fishing are the favourite things to do. You can also go hiking or biking in the forest. Salles is a village typical of the Périgord Noir region, where you can visit with friends for leisurely walks or go to the museum of "Francs Maçons" (free). You should check the restaurant "Au Portail" to sample the traditional French cuisine!

In addition to the car, the campsite is also easily accessible by plane plus rental car or taxi. Airport Rodez–Marcillac (RDZ) is approximately 53 km. Aéroport de Toulouse-Blagnac (TLS) is 158 km away and Aéroport Brive-Vallée de la Dordogne (BVE) is 202 km away. There are flights to these three airports from many cities in Europe.
