The city of Agde (25 km) is just a short drive away and offers a range of historical and cultural attractions, including the famous Cathedral of Saint Stephen, the Agde Archaeological Museum, and the Vauban Fortifications. The nearby town of Sète (60 km) is also well-worth a visit, with its beautiful port, lively market, and range of restaurants and cafes. If you are ready for a longer trip, visit the ancient fortified town of Carcassonne (92 km), and the impressive Hérault Gorges (118 km). Nature lovers may explore the Domaine des Orpellières nature reserve, located at the mouth of the Orb, shared between the municipalities of Valras and Sérignan. This 150-hectare area, acquired by the Conservatoire National du Littoral in 1980, consists of a beach, a 2.5 km dune belt, and a vast area of salt meadows. Several animal species and plant varieties flourish there.
