The Corniche d'Or (a road that runs along the Mediterranean Sea's coasts) is a remarkable eye-catcher from Saint-Raphaël to Cannes (48 km). It is without a doubt the most beautiful route in France, both by vehicle and by bike, with a backdrop of blue and crimson. The bishop complex of Fréjus (10 km) is another noteworthy religious structure in the Var, with four significant monuments: a cathedral, a baptistery, a cloister, and an episcopal palace that currently houses the Town Hall of Fréjus.
