The campsite Il Boschetto Di Piemma is located on the Via Francigena, the famous road that goes from Canterbury to Rome . It is surrounded by numerous biking and hiking trails going through the most scenic and breathtaking landscapes in the heart of Tuscany. The camping village promises an endless combination of tranquillity, entertainment and a fantastic location. It is situated just a stone’s throw away from the town of San Gimignano, also called the Manhattan of the Middle Ages. A large swimming pool, various leisure activities and delicious on-site cooked food will leave no one indifferent. Rent a spacious camping pitch or a modern mobile home, then unwind in the lush greenery.

Their camping pitches, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and oak wood, are suitable for tents, campers and caravans. The camping pitches are in natural shade, have WiFi, electricity, and some of them have a water supply. Your four-legged friends are welcome at any of the pitches. There are modern sanitary facility blocks for the pitch area.

For more home comforts, the campsite offers different mobile homes for 2 to 7 people. Units are equipped with a small kitchenette with all the necessary utensils, a dining area, comfortable beds, a private bathroom and a terrace with outdoor furniture. Some of the mobile homes do not have a kitchen. But it is important to mention that pets are welcome in the rentals too. There is a public, well-equipped laundry.

RiccaPizza (3 km) has a wide variety of Italian cuisine, pizza and other fast food. There is a bigger supermarket, Coop, just a 2-kilometre ride from the camping village. If the wine collection in the campsite restaurant is not enough, try the Azienda Agricola Palagetto winery, just 3 kilometres away from the campsite.

Il Boschetto Di Piemma is a perfect place to explore the fascinating region of Tuscany, its surrounding villages and natural landmarks. The closest town is San Gimignano (2 km), also known as the Manhattan of the Middle Ages. Visit Piazza Della Cisterna and the famous towers. The Casa and Tower of Campatelli are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. And do not miss the interesting Museums of Torture and the Death Penalty. Take your family to wander around the Sotto Vico Garden (16 km), a botanical garden home to thousands of plant species.

If you are ready for a little longer trip, go to Pisa (80 km) and its famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, and discover various museums and galleries. Also, go shopping and explore regional gastronomy.

The closest international airports are Florence Airport (62 km) and Pisa International Airport (76 km). If you are travelling from Florence, you will have to take a train to Alamanni-Stazione. Walk to Autostazione Busitalia Firenze Station and catch a bus to Poggibonsi Fs. From there, you will easily get to Porta San Giovanni Station. If you are travelling from Pisa, get to Pisa Centrale Station from the airport and then travel to Porta San Giovanni.
