Camping Barco Reale is best described by nature, relaxation and wonderful views. The campsite is located in the centre of Tuscany, among the picturesque hills. The campsite is very close to famous Tuscan cities like Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Pistoia - it is an ideal place for exploring Tuscany, its diverse natural landscape - the cypress trees, valleys and hills that offer amazing views. It is the 4-star family-friendly campsite where you and your family will find both entertainment and relaxation. What about the rest? The campsite offers its guests the chance to choose from multiple different accommodation options like safari tents, mobile homes and pitches. You can choose from different types of pitches - standard, plus, maxi, super maxi, exclusive or leading. All pitches have electricity and there are water standpipes nearby. If you want to rent a tent, you can choose from “Tent Safari” that fit 5 people, has 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room with TV, bathroom and veranda with safari-style furniture for your family gatherings and relaxation. “Maxi Tent Safari Super Comfort'' fit 6 people, there is 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with 1 single bed and 1 bunk bed, 1 bedroom with 1 single bed, the tent is equipped with air conditioning, has a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living room with TV, bathroom and veranda. All safari tents are non-smoking. Mobile homes are equipped with a small kitchenette with all the necessary utensils, have a living room with a dining area, a bedroom and a separate bathroom. Every unit has a spacious veranda too. Important to mention that all accommodations are pet-friendly. You can walk your dog everywhere on the campsite and access all areas. 

At the campsite, you will also find sanitary facilities, eco point, bike and scooter rental, car rental and camping service. If you have questions during your stay, don't hesitate, come to the info point and we will help you out. 

Restaurant. The real Italian experience is not complete without having eaten some traditional Tuscan food. Campsite restaurant offers a wide range of traditional Tuscan dishes (crostini toscani, panzanella, bistecca alla fiorentina, fagioli con salsiccia, tagliatelle al tartufo, torta di ceci, potato tortelli, pecorino..) and Tuscan wines (Tuscany is well-known for its wines, including Chianti, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Morellino di Scansano, Brunello di Montalcino and white Vernaccia di San Gimignano).

Gelateria. Come to taste homemade ice cream in the Barco Reale ice-cream shop (open from June to September). Refreshing ice cream is a must!

Mini-Market. In the campsite's mini-market you will find fresh bread, a selection of dairy products, fruits, vegetables, pet supplies and other everyday needs. It is very practical and well-stocked so you will be able to find all you need for cooking in your holiday home.

Bar. Come together with friends and family to celebrate your holiday in Italian style and enjoy “aperitivo” - a drink that takes place at the end of the day before having dinner.

If you are ready to go outside the camping area and try different restaurants, there are some good nearby places like “I Golosi” (450 m) - a 4-star restaurant for dining in and takeaway meals, “Ciccia Alla Griglia” (200 m) - 4.3 stars rated restaurant, or “Ristorante Pizzeria Da Marcellino” (1,3 km) - for a taste of perfect Italian pizza. 

At Camping Barco Reale you will find a lot of activities. Sports lovers will find football and volleyball pitch, basketball court, ping-pong table, horse riding schools. If you enjoy hiking, go discover the different trails around the campsite. There are also bicycle and mountain bike trails for cycling fans. Camping entertains people of all ages - our animation team will make sure your kids have the time of their life, while you relax by a swimming pool with a panoramic view over the typical Tuscan vineyards. Thus, in summer campsite offers many musical and cultural events. 

If you travel by car, go sightseeing - an entire trip can be organized based on just admiring breathtaking Tuscany landscapes. Visit the city of Pistoia (16 km), named the Italian Capital of Culture in 2017. Go to Montecatini Terme (20 km) which has a strong vocation for tourism, as well as industries related to the spa. Take a trip to Villa La Magia (12 km) - Medici villa, one of the fourteen UNESCO sites. Visit the beautiful Tuscany cities like Lucca (58 km) - known for its fantastic medieval city walls, Florence (53 km) - the capital of many masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture, or Pisa (79 km) - known for its iconic Leaning Tower.

Pets are more than welcome, you can walk with your faithful friend everywhere on the campsite and access all areas.

The shuttle also goes from the campsite to the stations of Pistoia and Empoli, to offer the best tourist experience.
