Camping Mare Monti, located in Sestri Levante (Liguria), province of Genoa, is the campsite where you and your family will find both relaxation and entertainment. The campsite has two swimming pools, a big one, 18 metres long and 8 metres wide, and a second one for the babies. Moreover, at the campsite you can play volleyball, there is a shuttle service to the seaside, in August; and on some weekends in July, you can participate in dancing and other fun events.

The distance of only 5 kilometres between the campsite and the centre of Sestri Levante allows the campers to take advantage of the various services that Sestri Levante offers: two train stations; the departure point to Genoa, Cinque Terre, Portofino, and many tourist localities of the Tigullio Gulf a Poets’ Gulf. 

The camping is equipped, so you don’t even have to leave the venue if you don’t want to. The campsite has a bar for quick meals and refreshing drinks and a mini-market for everyday necessities. However, if you decide to wander around, Aragosta D'Oro Restaurant (5 km) is a great place for dinner, or Rezzano Restaurant (4,7 km) is a good family-run restaurant with high-quality home-cooked food.

There is a lot for your eyes on the Italian Riviera. Cinque Terre (47 km), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a collection of five small, lovely fishing villages linked by a hiking path called Via dell'Amore. It is accessible by train rather than by car and is loved by cyclists. 

Travelling a little farther from the campsite, 60 kilometres away, sits La Spezia, with its beautiful marina and harbour. The second biggest city in Liguria also offers great shopping facilities. Near La Spezia, on a promontory, sits Portovenere, introducing tourists to an impressive old castle, churches, and the Regional Natural Park, with a unique landscape with its high coasts and caves.

Visit Pisa. 1h 20 minutes by car, you can easily reach the Tuscan city known for its famous leaning tower. The tower is the bell tower of the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and is the symbol of the city and among the most iconic symbols of Italy. In Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa, you will find the Cathedral, the Tower, the Baptistery, the Holy Field, the Sinope Museum, and the Museo dell Opera del Duomo.

Explore Acquario di Genoa (58 km). The largest aquarium in Italy and the ninth in the world is about 40 minutes drive from the campsite. It is located in Ponte Spinola, in the sixteenth-century ancient port of Genoa. The path inside the aquarium is about 2 hours and 30 minutes and includes 39 tanks in addition to the 4 open ones.
