Camping Orchidea extends over an area of 45,000 square metres, it is in a gentle inlet of Lake Maggiore and borders Feriolo. It is a quiet location ideal for families, with a gently sloping sandy beach perfect for the little ones, a swimming pool with an adult area, a children's area with two slides suitable for the whole family, and a relaxation area with hydromassage beds. The campsite is in an ideal location, just 3 km from Baveno, 7 km from Stresa, 8 km from Verbania, and 35 km from the Swiss border in Ticino. The campsite offers different types of accommodations to match the most demanding guests.

Pitches. Camping Residence Orchidea offers its customers large pitches of 70 / 80 m2, partially shaded, all with an electricity connection (6 amps). You can choose the lake area pitches with a 6-ampere electricity connection and a direct drinking water load on the pitch or standard 70 sqm pitches with 6 Ampere electricity connection. They have grassy ground, parking spaces inside the pitch, and a wi-fi connection. 

Mobile home. Camping Orchidea offers various types of comfortable mobile homes, housing solutions furnished in a simple and functional way for those who want a holiday in complete freedom. all mobile homes have a furnished terrace, sun loungers, a fully equipped kitchenette, a private bathroom with shower, depending on the type, two or three bedrooms (blankets and pillows included), air conditioning, satellite TV, a wifi connection for the entire period of your stay, and a car park next to your accommodation.

Residence. Arranged over two floors and made up of eight apartments - four two-room and four three-room apartments all with covered parking spaces, balconies, or small gardens. The residence is located just 200 metres from the centre of Feriolo, a picturesque hamlet of Baveno, an ideal starting point for visiting the major attractions of Lake Maggiore. The daily rate includes accommodations for 4 or 6 people (depending on the type of apartment), consumption (water, electricity, gas, air conditioning), 1 wifi connection, sheets, towels, covered car parking, and all camping services.

By the pool, there are sun loungers and umbrellas available. The use of swimming caps is mandatory in the swimming pool, and it is forbidden to bring food or drinks into the bathing area.

For the 2022 season, together with the animation staff of Sounds Good Animation, daytime and evening entertainment from July to September. The vast entertainment program is aimed at children aged between 4 and 12. 

At the Orchidea camping residence, you will find two points: the restaurant-pizzeria- Bar "Al vecchio canneto" and the "Canneto on the Beach," directly on the beach, where you can taste high-level Italian cuisine. 

The restaurants are open every day for lunch and dinner, with table service and takeout options.

The bars are open every day from 7.30 to 23.00 and offer Italian breakfast service, aperitifs , snacks, and homemade ice cream in the central room of the "Al Vecchio Canneto " bar. 

It is an ideal location for exploring Lake Maggiore's surroundings. The beautiful town of Stresa, only 7 kilometres away, is one of the closest towns, with its landmark buildings, Villa Pallavicino, with its gardens and zoo, and the Grand Hôtel des Iles Borromées, where author Ernest Hemingway once stayed. The lake has a few islands, and one of them is Isola Bella (7 km), a small but astonishing island with a huge palace and an Italianate garden. Another beautiful lake, Orta, is only an 18-kilometre ride away from the campsite. Take your family to admire the breathtaking views of the National Park of Val Grande (14 km). 

Do not miss Vogogna, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, only 23 km away from the campsite. Discover the surroundings of Monte Mattarone and Alpyland amusement park, 22 km away. A little further from the site, there is the Falconeria Locarno animal park (46 km) and the Faunistic Park La Torbiera (46 km). And finally, if you are keen on travelling a little further from the campsite, visit Milan (95 km) and discover the famous Milan Cathedral, various museums and galleries, go shopping, and try local gastronomy in the city of fashion.
