Camping Punta Indiani

• It is situated on the shore of Caldonazzo lake, in the heart of Valsugana.

The campsite is located in Pergine Valsugana, on the Punta Indiani peninsula, and overlooks Caldonazzo lake, an amazing natural pool, suitable for both swimming and practising water sports from May to the very end of September. The campsite has a 400-meter private beach reserved for guests. It is a family-friendly campsite with a children’s playground and other activities. 

The campsite offers different types of accommodation to match the most demanding guests.

There are 115 pitches on a 15.000 MQ area, all accessible by campers, caravans, and tents. They are all grassy and shaded by large trees. You can choose a pitch right on the lake shore to fully experience the lake or a pitch on the lakefront with more privacy. Thus, you can choose your pitch surrounded by greenery, among the trees, in the quietest area of the campsite, 50 to 100 meters away from the beach.

If you prefer a more comfortable holiday, choose one of the rentals. There are 11 mobile homes located on the terraces and all have a wooden veranda with outdoor furniture. The mobile homes can accommodate up to 4/5 people. They are equipped with a kitchen/living room, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. Choose the best accommodation that suits your needs and enjoy your camping holiday! 

At the campsite, you will also find a baby room, sanitary facilities, a chemical toilet, drinkable running water, and Wifi.

The campsite provides bikes, mountain bikes, and e.bikes for rent. You can go hiking and cycling. Take advantage and go explore the beautiful region's surroundings. Cycle Path connects Caldonazzo Lake with Bassano del Grappa, which is a true paradise for all bike lovers. It is 80 km long, with intermingling cultural aspects, history and natural landscapes, which mark the border between Trentino and Veneto. Discover the Lagorai Mountain group, a real paradise for hikers and mountain bikers, that offers plenty of experiences and landscapes to remember.

Have fun, keep fit by swimming and do your favourite water sports in Caldonazzo lake, a real natural gym: canoeing, waterskiing, sailing, and paddling. 

A bunch of shops, restaurants, and taverns are just around the corner from the campsite. Go to La Taverna Restaurant - Levico Lake (9 km) or Trattoria Angi (2,8 km) for fine seafood. 

Fancy a refreshing drink on the beach? Binario Seventynine Ciolda (450 m) is the place you may want to visit.  

Interested in history? Many forts of WW1 overlook the lake. These areas were the border between the Reign of Italy and the Austrian-Hungarian Empire. Moreover, you can visit the Caves of Castello Tesino, which develop for about 400 metres with stalactites and stalagmites, with thousands of colours and shapes. Visit Castel Pergine, a castle built in 1200 that hosts contemporary art, culture, and music events.

In the ancient mineral park in Calceranica al Lago, you can visit the first part of the Leyla gallery and the nearby museum.

Il Castello del Buonconsiglio (15 km) is the most important castle in Trentino, the residence of the Prince Bishops and the symbol of the city of Trento.

If you are ready for a longer trip, go to Venice (150 km). Known as the "City of Canals," "The Floating City," and "Serenissima," it is arguably one of Italy's most picturesque cities. With its winding canals, striking architecture, and beautiful bridges, Venice is one of the most popular destinations to travel to.

Even by using public transport, you can reach the cities of Trento (18 km), Rovereto (45 km), and Verona (117 km) easily. These cities are perfect for a day dedicated to culture, exploring, and shopping. Don't miss a day trip to Venice by taking the Valsugana train.
