Camping Seiser Alm in the tourism area of Alpe di Siusi is a 4-star campsite located in the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Dolomites. South Tyrol camping is located in the northern part of Italy, and it is the second-largest province, with the capital and largest city being Bolzano. A large portion of the local population speaks German. The major cities of Bolzano and Meran are primarily spoken in Italian. Camping in Alpe di Siusi includes an outdoor heated swimming pool that is open from May to October. Laghetto di Fiè/Völser Weiher swimming lake, 20 minutes walk from the campsite, has a stunning Alps backdrop and is located in the heart of Schiller nature park. Guests staying at the campsite can use the local buses for free and receive discounts on public transportation throughout South Tyrol.
On the hill, there is an open small tent meadow that is not reserved. It is best to arrive prior to the check-in time. The sanitary facilities, on the other hand, are close by.
Comfort pitches on gravel patches are available at this stunning campsite in the Dolomites, Italy, for motorhomes and camper vans. There are several types of Comfort Pitches. The Comfort A size ranges from 60 to 85 square metres. Comfort B covers an area ranging from 70 to 110 square metres. Comfort C pitches range from 80 to 110. The Comfort C pitches are located on the terrain's side and thus have an unobstructed view of the Dolomites. Superior S pitches range in size from 150 to 200 square metres. Most comfort pitches have access to both fresh and sewage water, as well as TV, gas, power, and Wifi. It is strongly advised to book private bathrooms in addition to pitches.
Camping Seiser Alm Dolomites Lodges are luxurious wooden chalets with modern interiors and two bedrooms, each with a shower and toilet, a living room with a sofa, and a spacious terrace with breathtaking views of the Dolomites. There is room for four adults or two adults and up to three children.

Fresh bread, croissants, farm eggs, milk, and other items are available at the campsite's Mini Market. Guests can prepare their own meals or dine at the "Zur Quelle" restaurant. In the evenings, the restaurant at Camping Seiser Alm is open. The restaurant serves both Tirolean and Mediterranean cuisines and serves regional and local dishes made from fresh produce.
If you want to eat out, Restaurant st. Anton (2,8 km) is a great option. In a beautiful setting, they serve exceptional cuisine. Binderstube (4 km) serves excellent pasta dishes as well as daily meals that are not listed on the menu paired with an excellent selection of wines. The pizzas at Santner's Pizzeria Restaurant (3.3 km) are made from locally sourced fresh produce, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.
Daniels Lounge & Bar (4 km) has a great atmosphere and a good drink selection. CAROMA Kaffeerösterei (3 km) is a coffee roaster where you can take a mini-tour and sample coffee. There are some exceptional coffee blends for everyone.
Camping on the Alpe di Siusi means breathtaking views, a prime location near the Dolomites, and a huge number of hiking trails. Hike up to Schlern (15 km) for panoramic views. There are trails leading to the top or hike to the Rosengarten group (40.9 km) for a cluster of dolomite mountains known for their pink hues and stunning hiking trails. Prösels Castle (7 km) is impossible to overlook. Hikers may also be interested in hiking at the Ötztal Alps (78 km) or Civetta (83.8 km), two popular mountain peaks for hiking, mountain biking, and skiing.
It is highly recommended to visit the region's largest town, Bolzano (19.8 km), and stroll through the old town streets against the dramatic backdrop of the Alps. Museion - Modern Art Museum, Boesso Art Gallery, and Messner Mountain Museum Firmian are some of the museums and art galleries to visit. Castel Roncolo is easily accessible from there (21.9 km).
Trento (76.2 km) is another town to visit, with attractions such as the Buonconsiglio Castle Museum, the Cattedrale di San Vigilio, the Museo dell'Aeronautica Gianni Caproni, and the Doss Trento natural park with panoramic views, an archaeological site, and a military museum. It's also worth the hike to Forte San Rocco for the spectacular views.
