In the middle of the beautiful green hills of the Chianti, in the heart of the Tuscany region, lies the Glamping Resort Orlando in Chianti. On the way to the resort you drive straight through the impressive landscape, over hills and through the mountains, covered by the many oak and pine trees. The campsite has an extensive entertainment program for young and old and offers various unique accommodations, such as a large American school bus. Camping with your own tent, caravan or camper is also a real party here.

There is so much to do at this great site that you will be short of time to tick it all off. The large pool paradise with slides and water games is attractive for all ages. Here you and your kids will have hours of fun. The various swimming pools ensure that every age can enjoy themselves here. Whether you want to splash through the water, whiz down the slides or just relax in the water without being disturbed, there is something for everyone here.

Especially for children there is the cuddly mascot Spotty! This cuddly mascot is ready every day to give the little ones the day of their lives together with the enthusiastic animation team. They can play, romp, do crafts, dance and sing all day long together with their peers. Who wouldn't want that?

The Adventure Park is also a real attraction for the little ones. Here they can drive through the forest in a mini-electric Land Rover. They drive straight through the mud, over stones and along slippery paths through the beautiful nature. Not too fond of cars? In the summer months of July and August, the children have the opportunity to sometimes even ride a pony! How cool is that?

Of course there is also plenty to do for adults here. For example, the campsite offers an extensive entertainment program for adults where you can participate in sports & games, aqua gym or various other sports tournaments.

The mountain landscape where the campsite is located has a number of beautiful mountain bike or road cycling routes. Walking in this area is also beautiful. There are various walking routes that lead you through the woods and the breathtaking wine landscape.

The American school bus looks almost exactly like it does in the movies, only better! With four sleeping places, a private bathroom, kitchenette, a cozy living room and even air conditioning, your holiday can no longer go wrong. Outside you will find a complete garden set so that you can relax at your cool accommodation.

The Twin Lodge is also an eye catcher. This accommodation consists of two tents and can accommodate four people. The main tent consists of a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a bathroom and kitchenette. The smaller adjoining tent has two single beds; perfect for the kids! Outside you have your own terrace with garden furniture where you can eat, play games or just relax.

On holiday to Tuscany with your dog? Then you can go to the Cottage Classic or one of the pitches. The pitches are all equipped with an electricity connection of 6 Amps and are between 30 and 100 m2. You can choose the size of the pitch yourself when booking. There is plenty of natural shade due to the many oak and pine trees on and around the site.

Your four-legged friend is more than welcome in the Classic Cottage. This simple cottage has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with three single beds. You will also find a bathroom and a large kitchen with living room. Outside you have access to a large terrace with furniture and a barbecue.

The Chianti region is known not only for its delicious red wines, but also for its traditional and tasty cuisine. The restaurant is stylishly decorated and outside on the terrace you have a beautiful view of one of the swimming pools. The new roof terrace was built in 2020. This roof terrace has been transformed into a magical garden with lots of greenery and cozy places where you can dine or participate in a wine tasting, a gin cocktail party or just a nice drink together.

In addition to the luxury restaurant, you will also find the bar here. At this bar you order the best Italian Espressos, cappuccinos, ice creams or cocktails.

Prefer to cook for yourself? The mini market at Glamping Resort Orlando in Chianti is open daily for fresh produce, crispy breads and Tuscan specialities.

Several supermarkets can be found in the area for a wider range.

Since 1997, L'Eroica has been organized in the region. This non-competitive competition is entirely devoted to the “vintage”. For example, old cycling bikes are mounted and vintage cycling clothes are worn. This route can also be driven independently. Hop on your bike and follow this route at high speed or just enjoy the surroundings.

Exactly an hour's drive from the campsite you will find the impressive city of Florence. Admire the beautiful old architecture or admire the many works of art. Or visit the Mercato Centrale. This gigantic market has everything you could possibly need and more. On the first floor there is a food court where you can enjoy local dishes or wine tasting.

If you've had enough of the hustle and bustle, but still want to stay in Florence for a while, the Boboli Gardens are definitely worth a visit. The richest and most influential families have lived here, and it certainly shows. This park is full of colorful flowers, plants, trees, fountains, buildings, statues, an amphitheater and even a cave!
