You can also come with your motorhome or campervan and take advantage of the park's facilities.
For holidaymakers who love glamping, Camping Ackersate, in collaboration with Villatent, offers Nomad and Cottage glamping tents. The 6p Nomad and 6p Cottage Villatents are fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, a Nespresso coffee machine, and 2m-long beds. The Nomad and Cottage tents also have a hammock and an Outdoor-Chef gas barbecue.

For both young and old, there is plenty to do at the campsite. Take a dip in the indoor or outdoor swimming pool and go down the water slide. For the little ones, there is a children's pool with fun fountains. Children will also have hours of fun at the trampoline park, making new holiday friends in the playground, cuddling their favorite animal in the animal pasture, or playing games with the entertainment team. There is a tennis court for sporty ones. You can also hire a bicycle, spot wild animals, or go for a long walk.
The campsite is equipped, so you don’t even have to leave the venue if you don’t want to. Start the day with a delicious, fresh breakfast and warm bread rolls from the store. Buy a delicious ice cream in the ice cream corner in the afternoon. Go for a real meal at Restaurant Het Karrewiel in the evening, choose a quick bite at the snack bar, or get a fresh pizza in our store!
However, if you decide to wander around, go to Eethuisje De Heuveltjes (1.1 km), Lounge 3 (1.5 km), Grandcafé Wijntje (1.4 km), or de Daltons (1.6 km). Just keep in mind that (almost) every shop and restaurant in the area is closed on Sundays.
The campsite is located near the village of Voorthuizen and is only a short distance from the large Veluwe forests. Here, you can fully enjoy nature. Furthermore, Ackersate benefits from a central location with excellent and 'fast' access and exit roads. This means you can easily enjoy a day out to an animal park, or go hiking and cycling along marked routes.
From the campsite, you will discover the most beautiful places in Gelderland. In Betuwe (45 km), you will find beautiful orchards and rivers that you can admire by bicycle, on foot, or by canoe. Ask the receptionist for the most beautiful cycling routes, where you cycle past the most beautiful places and nicest villages. You will also find fun activities for a day out in the area. For example, visit the beautiful Saint Peter's Church in Beesd, the Elvis Presley Museum, the Owl and Animal Park in De Paay, or go for a game of farmer's golf among the cows at Boerengolf Enspijk.
