Already settled in your rental home or camping pitch? Start exploring all the fun on the campsite.
On a hot day, it is wonderful to cool off in the recreational lake with a 30-meter-long water slide. The large sunbathing lawn invites you to a relaxing beach day. Or challenge each other with a game of miniature golf, beach volleyball, or table tennis. From your lounge, you have a good view of the water, with a children's line and water attractions. The lake's gently sloping bottom is therefore very suitable for small children. Dogs are not allowed here.
During the holiday periods, various activities are organised at the children's entertainment for children up to about 12 years old. But there is also plenty to do at the park for the elderly (see below). There are also bicycles, go-karts, and pedal boats for rent, or you can use tennis courts for free.
Want to take a nice ride? This is possible with a real go-kart. If you have not brought a bicycle with you, thanks to bicycle rental, you still have the opportunity to enjoy cycling in the beautiful nature of North Limburg. Grab the bike and hit the road!
The campsite is equipped, so you don’t even have to leave the venue if you don’t want to. They have a lounge cafe, a snack bar with a terrace, and a service for fresh bread and pastries. Start the day with delicious fresh rolls! During the holiday periods (July/ August), you can order fresh bread rolls daily at the reception.
The village of Oostrum has a nice bistro with bowling alleys. The provincial town of Venray has two cosy catering squares with terraces and a large number of restaurants and bars.
Parc de Witte Vennen, located between the Maas, two national parks, and the German border, is an ideal starting point for a day trip. Whether you travel by bike, car, or foot. Explore the Maas Valley with its strawberry, asparagus, and tree nurseries, as well as the quaint Maas villages. Alternatively, walk through De Maasduinen and use the pull raft to cross the Reindersmeer. The vast, quiet area of Landgoed Geijsteren is close to home, on the north side of Oostrum. In a nutshell, nature is abundant. From a city visit to Kevelaer (24 km) in Germany and bargain hunting in Roermond (50 km) to a Burgundian visit to the De Hertog Jan Brewery in Arcen (20 km), there's something for everyone. Shopping facilities can be found in Dusseldorf (84 km).
