On the border of the Netherlands and Germany, in the town of Denekamp, you will find the beautiful Papillon Country Resort. The campsite is surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Twente landscape. If you get up early, there's a chance the deer will join you for breakfast!

In addition to spacious camping pitches with or without private sanitary facilities and mobile homes, you can also rent beautiful glamping tents here. Children will have the time of their lives here with the enthusiastic entertainment team and funny mascot Spotty.

Papillon Country Resort is a true paradise for children. Here you will find Spotty Land, an indoor play park that is fully equipped with the funny Dalmatian mascot: Spotty. Children can play here on the slides, in the playhouses, toy buildings and much more. So whether the weather is sunny or not, they can always have fun here!

Both inside and outside you will find large theatres where Spotty will perform. In the evening, everyone enjoys the children's disco. After that, it is time for fantastic shows that are also great fun for the parents!

In short, the children will never get bored here. In addition to the mascot, a very enthusiastic animation team is ready to play games, sports, sing, dance, and do crafts together with the children.

The new outdoor swimming pool makes it possible to swim here in any season. The swimming pool has a retractable roof that can be closed when the weather is not suitable, while it can be opened during beautiful summer days. That's great! In addition to the deeper pool with a cool slide, there is also a paddling pool for the youngest guests. Furthermore, the children can enjoy themselves in the cool Spray Park.

In addition to the swimming pool, there is even more water fun to be had at the Papillon Country Resort! There is a large swimming pond where you can swim, sail a boat or build the most beautiful sandcastles on the beach. In addition to swimming, you can also play beach volleyball or whiz down the cable car. The best thing is perhaps the big inflatable mountain in the middle of the pond that you can climb and then jump to the water again!

Fishing enthusiasts can visit the two fishing ponds in the park. The spacious camping spots border exactly on these spots, so you can hang out early. At the fishing pond, you will also find a number of Fish Cabins where you can relax while casting your fishing rod. Ideal.

For the sports enthusiast, there are various sports to practice. You can train your muscles on the Outdoor Fitness Trail or play a competitive game of tennis, football or volleyball. Children can follow the path through the forest. Here they learn about nature in a playful way.

Going on holiday to beautiful Twente with your dog? Then you should stay on one of the pitches or in the bungalows. The bungalows are fully equipped and available for five people. Early birds can even book such a beautiful bungalow right on the fishing pond! The houses are surrounded by beautiful trees and lots of space so that you can enjoy that little bit of extra privacy. There are three bedrooms, a bathroom, a fully fitted kitchen and a spacious living/dining room. Outside there is a large terrace with furniture where you can enjoy breakfast or a nice drink during the sunset.

The pitches are at least 100 m2 in size and often have natural shade due to the many trees. All pitches have at least an electricity connection of 4 or 10 Amps. The comfort pitches are also equipped with a water supply and drainage. Prefer your own sanitary facilities? That is also possible, of course! The Comfort pitches with their own sanitary facilities are equipped with a unit with its own shower, toilet, sink and stove for the colder days. Outside there is also a washing-up area and even an extra refrigerator!

For holidaymakers who love glamping, Vakantiepark De IJsvogel, in collaboration with Villatent, offers Nomad glamping tents. The 4-6p Nomad Villatent is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, a Nespresso coffee machine and 2m-long beds. The Nomad also has a hammock and an Outdoor-Chef gas barbecue.

In the restaurant, you can enjoy freshly prepared top quality meals. The modern restaurant is stylishly decorated and offers numerous tasty dishes for the whole family. The attentive service does everything to make you feel comfortable during your holiday. You can stop by here not only for a delicious dinner, but also to take a seat for a light lunch, a nice cup of coffee or a nice drink.

The shop at the park has everything you could need on a holiday. Freshly baked bread rolls and croissants, fresh coffee and various newspapers... Everything for you to start your days perfectly. You can also go to the camping shop for your other daily necessities.

The climbing forest is definitely recommended for real adventurers. Here you can climb and clamber through the trees and then slide down a zipline. This crazy climbing forest is less than 20 minutes by car from the campsite and is certainly worth it for an exciting adventure in a wooded area.

About 10 minutes by car from Papillon Country Resort, you will find the impressive Singraven estate. This estate is first mentioned in 1381 and the first house dates from 1415! On this estate, there are several beautiful monumental buildings such as the Koetshuis, the centuries-old watermill with three wheels and of course the stately house Singraven. The estate is beautifully maintained and the employees will tell you with great passion and pleasure about the history of this beautiful estate.

The campsite is right on the border, making a trip to Germany easy to realize. Also, a trip to Tierpark Nordhorn can make your holiday even better! This zoo is the home of several rare animals and is 10 minutes by car from the park.
