The spectacular amusement park at Vakantiepark Duinrell is one of its most notable features. There's something here to suit every taste and thrill level, with over 40 attractions including roller coasters, water rides, and family-friendly attractions. The park offers a variety of experiences that will keep visitors entertained for hours on end, from the Tiki Pool with its tropical atmosphere to the Dragonfly roller coaster that weaves in and out of the trees. The amusement park, however, is not the only attraction. The park also has a large outdoor pool and an indoor water park, which is ideal for splashing around on rainy days. Visitors particularly enjoy the Tiki Pool, which features a variety of water slides, a lazy river, and a wave pool. During the hot summer months, it's the ideal place to cool off.

The camping is equipped, so you don’t even have to leave the venue if you don’t want to. The park is home to several restaurants, cafes, and snack bars, offering everything from traditional Dutch cuisine to international favourites like pizza and burgers. There's also a well-stocked grocery store on site.

One of the great things about Vakantiepark Duinrell is its convenient location. The park is just a short drive away from several of the Netherlands' most popular attractions, including the historic city of Leiden, known for its centuries-old architecture and for Leiden University, the country’s oldest, dating from 1575. The university houses the Hortus botanicus Leiden Botanical Garden, founded in 1590, where the tulip was introduced to Western Europe. The Museum de Lakenhal displays works by the Dutch Masters including Rembrandt, who was born in Leiden.

Scheveningen (12 km) is well-known for the impressive Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus, its iconic pier, long boulevard, countless beach pavilions, and endless beaches. That is why Scheveningen is one of the most popular seaside towns in the Netherlands.

The Keukenhof Tulip Gardens (24 km) are the world's largest flower garden. Each spring over 7 million tulip bulbs burst into bloom, along with a variety of other flowers. It also hosts several events and activities, attracting visitors from all over the world.

Amsterdam (55 km) is known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city’s 17th-century Golden Age. Its Museum District houses the Van Gogh Museum, works by Rembrandt and Vermeer at the Rijksmuseum, and modern art at the Stedelijk. Cycling is key to the city’s character, and there are numerous bike paths.
