It is the favourite place for children because here they can play with their friends and feel the true happiness of the holidays. The little ones can play in the paddling pool, even those who do not know how to swim yet. Around the pools there is a large solarium with sun loungers.
Take advantage of a large sports area right next to the beach.
There are two basketball courts, two grass soccer fields, and an outdoor gym. On the beach, you can play beach volleyball. The animation team organises training sessions in the gym and aqua gym classes in the pool.
Play mini-golf.
Camping Las Dunas mini golf is great fun for players of all ages. Next to the mini-golf there is a beach bar with a terrace, where you can enjoy a drink in a quiet atmosphere.
The camping is equipped, so you do not have to leave the venue. There are four restaurants, three bars, two shops, and a large supermarket for your everyday needs. However, if you decide to wander around, go to Restaurant La Taverna Sant Pere Pescador (4,7 km) or Pizzeria Eric (5 km).
Camping Las Dunas is a very good starting point for your bike routes. As soon as you leave the campsite, you can take the bike path to enter the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà natural park that surrounds the campsite. From there, the possibilities are endless and only depend on your needs.
Camping Las Dunas offers bicycles for rent. In high season, the entertainment team organises bike rides from the campsite for all levels, whether you are a beginner or a pro driver.
Explore Sant Pere Pescador (4 km). The town sits in an area of rich farmland with many fruit trees. The town is well equipped for tourists, with adequate tourist information available, good local shopping facilities for groceries, bars and restaurants.
Visit nearby cities like Roses (22 km), Empuriabrava (18 km), and Cadaqués (36 km).
Spend a day in Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Nature Park (9 km), the second most important wetland area in Catalonia, after the Delta del Ebro. The park is inhabited by a varied flora and fauna. Most notable are the tamarinds (shrubs capable of living on salty land), the marine rush, reeds, and salicornia.
