Camping Pueblo Blanco is located on the hills in Andalusia, in the province of Cadiz, next to the town of Olvera, catalogued as one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. If you are looking for sunshine, spectacular views, and fun, then you have found the right camping spot. It is a family-friendly campsite where you and your family will find both entertainment and relaxation.
In Camping Pueblo Blanco you can choose from pitches or bungalows. The campsite has 200 large pitches with electricity (16A), water intake and individual drainage, and with spectacular views of the mountains of Olvera. The campsite has 2 completely new toilet blocks, a laundry area, handicapped accessible bathrooms, and a bath adapted for babies. Hygiene is essential, which is why deep daily cleaning of the toilets is done every day. Aware of the environment and quality for customers, hot water is supplied by solar panels, contributing to more sustainable development.
Wooden bungalows are very cosy, equipped with an air conditioner, a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds, a bath, a French kitchen in the living room with a refrigerator, microwave, ceramic hob, and kitchenware for 5 people, an indoor/outdoor table and chairs, a TV with USB connection, and a spacious terrace.
Moreover, at the campsite, you will find both relaxation and entertainment. There is a swimming pool located next to the main building, open from May to September 15 (weather permitting). It is an ideal place for relaxation. Thus, there is a playground for kids, an indoor game room where you can play billiards, table football, cards, and more. Sports lovers can go play soccer, petanque, and basketball outdoors (ask for a ball in reception).
Would you like some adrenaline? There are some Tibetan bridges where you can experience the sensation of walking more than 5 metres above the ground.
The camping is equipped, so you do not even have to leave the venue if you don’t want to. There is a Mediterranean restaurant offering traditional Spanish cuisine, as well as a well-stocked mini-market for your everyday needs, including fresh bread every morning, groceries, hygiene products, and much more. However, if you decide to wander around, there are some good restaurants around the campsite, like "El Corral de La Pacheca" (4 km) or "Restaurante Aire" (5 km); a shop, Embutidos La Serrana, where you can buy popular local products (3 km); the supermarket Mercadona (4 km); and the pastry shop, "Pasteleria La Gloria" (5 km). And do not forget to try tapas! There is Bar "Las Ninas", a tapas bar nearby (4 km), or "Taberna Juanito Gomez", a family-owned Mediterranean style tapas bar that is very popular in Olvera, offering delicious tapas that you definitely need to try.
Firstly, explore the vicinity. Go to Olvera (5 km), it is a small city, so a visit will only take you about half a day. However, there are some nice tourist places to visit. Go to the Town Hall, take a walk down the street into town, where you will find numerous cafes, bars, and restaurants along the way. Explore the Arab castle, which is built into the highest point of Olvera's craggy cliffs. You will find the castle entrance just across the plaza from the church. Be aware that it is just a small doorway that is easily missed. Before entering, you must first go to the tourist office (in the corner of the church plaza) and pay the entrance fee. Explore the Church of the Incarnation, a neo-classical style church built in 1841, and Santuario De Los Remedios, a pretty little chapel just 2 km outside the town that is dedicated to the Virgin of the Remedies.
If you are ready for a bigger trip, go to the Sierra de Grazalema natural park (46 km) for hiking. There are many hiking trails in this park, and you can choose one depending on your fitness level, your interest, and also the time of the year.
Take a daily trip to Málaga (104 km). Besides being a top beach destination in Andalusia, Malaga is also full of interesting cultural sites and museums, including the Picasso Birthplace Museum, the Centre Pompidou Malaga, and the Carmen Thyssen Museum. Caminito del Rey (40 km) is close to Malaga, one of the most spectacular natural sites in Andalusia. To get there, you will need to be a bit adventurous because, until 2015, this hiking path was considered the most dangerous one in the world. Hopefully, today it is completely up to safety standards. And, the path is only one way, from north to south, so you’ll have to reach the end!
Go to the capital of Andalusia - Seville (104 km). Must see points of view: Alcazar of Seville, Seville Cathedral & La Giralda, Plaza de España - Spain square in Seville, Plaza de Toros, Santa Cruz district & Historical centre, Torre del Oro, Park Maria Luisa, and Casa de Pilatos.
If you are looking for the most beautiful beaches in Andalusia and like to party, go to Marbella (115 km). This city has 27 km of beaches, many prestigious villas, luxury stores, coffee shops, and fancy nightclubs. Marbella is also a very popular party destination for wealthy tourists. To get a glimpse of all of this luxury, you can go to Puerto Banus marina to see some of the most luxurious yachts in the world. But, if you are not interested in all this glamour, there is also a lovely historic centre with flowery houses in Marbella to explore.
On JetCamp you book directly with the accommodation or operator. The prices and conditions (down payment, change, cancellation) for booking a pitch, mobile home, or other accommodation may vary per accommodation. The rates fluctuate every year and are lower in the low season than in the high season.
The closest international airport is Seville Airport (107 km).
