Camping Bled is located in Alpine Slovenia at the juncture of several breath-taking valleys, three main mountain ranges and numerous rivers and lakes. It is ideal for those who want to find out what the region has to offer: the perfect location from which to explore Bled, the Julian Alps, the Gorenjska region and the rest of Slovenia. This leading eco-camp, where you'll wake up to the sound of birdsong, is nestled in a peaceful green valley near Lake Bled. Despite being in direct contact with nature, this top-tier camp offers amenities that you won't want to miss. Whether it’s hiking in the Julian Alps, diving into the crystal clear water of the lake, cycling into Triglavski Narodni Park, playing 18-holes at the Golf Club Bled, skiing at the Vogel Ski Centre in Bohinj in wintertime, or splashing into the thermal water pools, Bled will enchant you right away. Families and pets are especially welcome at the camp.

The Family Glamping huts are built using organically grown larch wood and covered with larch shingles and have comfortable beds, a wood-fired outdoor tub and wooden loungers in the garden, which is surrounded by typical Alpine plants and herbs. The designed chalets are modern family homes well positioned on the edge of the forest. A slightly higher plot to catch more sun, have better views and complete privacy. These chalets have air conditioning, a master bedroom, a bunk bed for the kids, and a fully equipped kitchen. The camp offers pitches (70-100 m2) with either grass or gravel surfaces, 16A electric hook-ups and free Wifi. Five sanitary facility blocks are centrally located across the site, including laundry and drying facilities. The campsite also has a family bathroom and a bathroom for the disabled. Private sanitary facilities are also available.

The camp does room service, so simply tell them your breakfast, picnic, lunch, or dinner preferences and the camp will deliver a basket with your food and drink selection. Every morning, around 8:30 a.m., the baker arrives at the campsite to serve freshly baked pastries and bread. Another alternative is to use the central (and well-equipped) kitchen and go grocery shopping near the campground's entrance. The restaurant near the campground's entrance serves delicious regional fare.

Hop on a boat to visit the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary on Blejski Otok island (37 km). If you like to exercise, you’ll enjoy the 99-step stone staircase climb to the top of the tower. Slovenia has a rich café culture, and its traditional Bled cream cake is an absolute must. Just pick a café along the beautiful promenade or go to Café Belvedere (Kavarna Belvedere) on the south side of the lake if you’re in for superb views of Blejski Otok island. The Art Cafe Bar is looking for something contemporary. Or to Confectionery Zima (Slaiarna Zima) for a superb selection of cakes. Go up to the Velika Osojnica panorama (1.6 km) belvedere to get a splendid 360-degree view of the lake and the surrounding hills and mountains, or up to the Bled Castle (Blejski Grad), an 11th-century castle on a cliff overlooking the village and lake and housing a museum, restaurant, and wine cellar (3.5 km).

Water plays a vital role in the natural ecosystem here, and you can take a family rafting trip down the Sava Dolinka river, go canyoning, or hike around Triglav national park (3 km) to see its seven iconic lakes. Explore the countryside, enjoy hearty local cuisine, and learn about the people and their long-standing customs.

Pets are welcome on the campsite. The owners are obliged to use a leash and muzzle in all areas, make sure they do not disturb other guests and have the necessary cleaning equipment. A special shower for dogs is located in toilet and shower building 2. We also provide a shaded kennel for dogs as well as a doggy daycare service.

Besides by car, the campsite is also accessible by plane plus rental car or taxi. Lesce Airport is approximately 9km. Aerodrom Ljubljana is 41 km from the campsite.
